    Purchasing Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for PC


    Was recently looking at buying the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate edition but when I made my account and went to subscribe the join button was faded and when I hovered over it, it showed that I was unable to purchase the pass.

    Was wondering if I need to buy something else or if its just a minor problem

    Did you purchase Game Pass for PC, Xbox Game Pass, or Game Pass Ultimate? Only Ultimate includes EA Play.

    There is Game Pass for consoles, Game Pass for PC, and Game Pass Ultimate which includes both console and PC Game Pass as well as cloud gaming. Did you purchase Game Pass for PC or Ultimate? If you just purchased Game Pass for console, then you wouldn't be able to use it on a PC.

    You can only convert it to Ultimate if you purchase Ultimate. The only way to convert it to PC Game Pass would be to cancel it and purchase PC Game Pass.

    Problem with the association between Gold and Game Pass Ultimate.

    Unfortunately you would have to purchase gold again if that is what you want. Before purchasing the promotion, you are warned that whatever gold or regular game pass you have on your account will be converted to Ultimate Game Pass and cannot be converted
    back.
