    purchasing Microsoft Store but not able to purchase XBOX ONE


    Hello

    I have given my son a gift card for £15 which he has redeemed on the Xbox One. it is showing in his Microsoft account. However, when he tries to purchase items on Fortnite it says he does not have enough money. So we added an extra £10 on Microsoft Family
    under his name. But the xbox still says he does not have enough money.

    I have lifted restrictions, turned it off an on, but it seems that the Xbox One in Fortnite is not reading that we have credited his account.

    If you've added the balance to your account, you should be able to open the Microsoft Store and then purchase the content there. Make sure that you aren't trying to purchase the content from the Microsoft Store if you are planning in playing the game on Windows, because the content available on the Microsoft Store is for Xbox One/Series X|S only.

    When you purchase content from one store, that content won't migrate to another one, given that you didn't purchased or downloaded the game from that store to begin with. The credits you've bought on the Microsoft Store won't migrate to your Steam title.
