Purchasing games on an account that isn't set as home xbox.

If the game was purchased on a different account I'm afraid there isn't a way to transfer it to your main account. So long as you set your Xbox One as the Home console for that account your main account will have access to the game.

Which console do you want everyone to be able to play your purchased games on? That is the one that needs to be the home console.

Any other consoles will need to have the purchasing account signed into it (or their account will need to have purchased the game). At most, a game can be played on 2 consoles at the same time (the purchasing account's home console, and a second console the purchasing account is signed into).

You mentioned, "If the game is already downloaded it will show a triangle with an explanation point in the middle."

That means the purchase license isn't there. You either need to be on the account's home console, or the purchasing account needs to be signed in to use the game.

to play digital versions of games offline the Xbox has to be set as the Home Xbox for the account that owns the game.

to play on an Xbox that isn't the Home Xbox you will need to be Online to verify the game license

the only way you could keep all transactions on one MSA would be to set up an Xbox account on your main MSA and get your Live subscription and game purchases on that then make your Xbox the Home console so you can then play on your existing Gamertag.

once the console is set as Home for your main MSA you can lock down the account on the Xbox so it always requires a password or passkey to sign in with that account.

some purchases can only be used by the account that owns them and can't be shared with My Home Xbox (pre-order content or in game currency) but you can purchase those on your main MSA as gifts for your Gamertag.

check your Purchase History https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/ and make sure it is showing there.

if it isn't there, did you purchase it on another account that had your Xbox set as Home?
