    Purchasing an Addon with Prepaid Xbox Store Money


    I recently bought some Xbox Live Credit. The Money is activated on my Account, but I cannot use it for buying an Addon on the Xbox Store.

    Can somebody help me?

    Xbox live gold renewal

    Gold can only be purchased via credit card/Paypal or by purchasing a prepaid gold card in a store. It is not possible to use the money in your Microsoft account to purchase gold.

    Xbox 360 live redeeming code option isnt allowing me to use it.

    Gold can only be purchased with a credit card/Paypal or by purchasing a prepaid gold card in a store. The money in your account cannot be used to purchase a gold subscription. It can only be used to purchase games or other content.

    It is Rainbow Six Siege Season Pass.

    No Errorcode at all, it just asks me to add a Cerdit Card...

    If you do not have enough currency in the account to cover the cost (plus tax, where applicable) then it will ask for a credit card to cover the remaining amount.

    But i got 50€ on my Account and it costs 30..

    I hope Tax is not that high^^

    Are you trying to make the purchase on the website or the console? If you're using the website, the reason that you are having issues is because the site does not allow purchases using the Microsoft Account. If you are using the console, when you go to make
    the purchase you should see an option to Change Payment Method which will allow you to choose the Microsoft Account rather than your credit card. Note that this will be before you actually confirm the purchase. Don't confirm the purchase until you've changed
    the payment method.
