    Purchases require a US address, but my region is set to Canada


    Okay, so over a month ago I tried to renew my Microsoft Puzzle subscription, and today I tried to make a purchase off of Microsoft bingo, on my computer through xbox. But it always asks me to make a payment address, and it has to be a US address, even though
    my region (and location) is in Canada. Any help?

    Trouble with Billing Region (State/Province)

    Would like some help updating my billing region.

    I originally set up my Live account in the US region, but now live in Canada. I am trying to purchase a DLC expansion pack but when I try to pay, the billing address is stuck to the US country and therefore can not pick a Canadian province.

    Why Can't i Change My Billing Options to Canadian

    Is your gamertags region set to Canada or a different country? If it's set for a different country (ie. US) then you will need to change the region of your gamertag to Canada in order to use currency that you've purchased.

    I have the same problem with the region of the child's account is not the same as the parent's region. The difference is that I'm in Canada and not the UK (I came across the forum by searching). My billing region is Canada, the region on my console is
    Canada, the regions showing on the profiles are Canada.

    I see that someone fixed the problem by changing the extension on their email address. Both my son's email address and the parental address are using .ca, which is Canadian so that won't work for me.

    Are there any other suggestions?

    Hello Angela, I don't know if you're trying to make that purchase through the console or the PC.

    In case you are trying to set up the account through the PC, make sure the address that is added in the account is from Canada, and the method of payment as well.

    A billing address is always required for purchases, if the address field is empty it will assume US.
