Purchases not counting towards vip or credits

I have made 5 purchases all digitally through the xboxone which shows up on my billing history but have yet to receive any credits or an increase in my vip rank for them. I believe there was a mission going on for pre-ordering mass effect which I did not
get either. So far this year I have spent close $200 dollars so I should be a lot closer to vip rank 2 than 5% which is what it is currently saying I am at.

MyVIP rewards vs Mission rewards?

Preorders do not count towards VIP. So you would only receive credits for it if you do purchase it as part of that offer and complete that offer.

Anything you purchase that does count towards another offer on the site won't count towards VIP rebates whether you finish the offer or not.

 

Reward Credits

In order to receive credits, your purchases either have to be eligible for a specific offer on the site at the time of purchase or you need at least 1 star level in order to receive VIP rebates. All offers for earning credits are listed on the Missions page
of the Rewards site and the offers typically change each month so your purchases won't always be eligible for an offer. Based on support's answer to your other thread, your purchases have been counting towards your VIP status, but they were not eligible for
any offers at the time that you made the purchases and since you don't have a star level, you would not receive VIP rebates for those purchases.

 

Support will double check everything, but there were no offers to receive credits just for preordering Mass Effect. It would have counted towards the Games on Demand punchcard that was running at the time, but you would have needed 2 other eligible purchases
to complete the offer and receive the credits. Also keep in mind that pre-orders do not count towards VIP.

What content on the Xbox Store is eligible for MyVIP?

Normally, most purchases for Xbox 360 and Xbox One from the Xbox Store qualify, including full Games on Demand titles (excluding game pre-orders), arcade games, indie games, game add-ons, game Season Passes, movies, TV shows, TV seasons, themes and avatar
items. In-game consumables, Xbox Live Gold memberships, Groove Music Passes, Microsoft Movies & TV Season Passes, and the purchase or redemption of Microsoft Points or Xbox Gift Cards, still do not qualify.

Therefore, your pre-order purchases and consumable purchases do not qualify for MyVIP. The only offer for pre-ordering Mass Effect was the Games on Demand punchcard. However, that offer required the purchase of three eligible pre-orders. Since you only made
two pre-order purchases, you did not complete that offer. If you are asking about your recent Assassin's Creed purchase, from our FAQ:

When will my MyVIP Rewards Credits be deposited into my Microsoft account?

The total Rewards earned will be calculated at the end of each month. Typically you'll receive your MyVIP earnings in your account by the 15th of the following month, though this is subject to the program's current deposit
terms. Be sure to keep an eye on MyStatement on the
MyRewards page to track your progress and watch your Rewards Credits total grow!

We have not yet calculated the month's MyVIP, so it is too early to see the Credits pending. Additionally, from our FAQ:

How does MyVIP work?

For every $10 you spend during the month on eligible items in the Xbox Store, you'll earn Reward Credits based on your current MyVIP Star Rank. Any outstanding funds will be rolled over into the next calendar month (i.e. if you spent $87 in July, you would
earn xx% of $80, with the existing $7 rolling over into August's balance).

Therefore, since your Assassin's Creed purchase was below $10, it may not trigger payback for this month, unless it completes a $10 amount from a previous month.
