Purchased vbucks came out on my bank account but not given vbucks, brought 5000

This can happen also if the purchase was refunded for some reason or another.

For instance the purchase was made and then it was disputed with the bank for some reason and Microsoft sent the money back to the bank and Epic would have then had to give the money back to Microsoft for the purchase they then would have taken the Vbucks
back off the account which if they were used would have then put the account into a negative vbucks balance.

You can check the status of an order like that by signing into your sons account at account.microsoft.com and checking the order history to see if there were any vbucks purchases that were refunded.

Sorry to jump in on this post but I can't work out where/how to ask my query.

I bought my son 1000 vbucks yesterday on Fortnite for £6.49 but on checking my bank today the charge has come out twice (and only 1000 vbucks not even 2000), how can I get my money back for the overcharge?

The purchase is only showing as one payment of 1000 vbucks and obviously don't want those refunded anyway as he's now used them, charge is twice on my bank!

I have just brought v bucks for my son and my Microsoft account but it's not bringing up a redeemable code - how long should I leave it? His xbox is not linked to my Microsoft account.

If you purchased the vbucks from the ingame store or from within the store on Xbox then the vbucks are automatically applied to the account that they were purchased from. You dont get a code.

Currently purchased Vbucks do not transfer to other platforms.

For example you can not use the Vbucks on PC if you purchased them on Xbox.

However, the in game items you spend your Vbucks on DO transfer.

• Vbucks CAN NOT be transferred to any other platform than the one you purchased them on.
• Vbucks earned from the Battlepass DO transfer.
• Vbucks earned from Save the World DO transfer.
• Items purchased with Vbucks DO transfer.

In a nut shell, Vbucks that you Purchase CAN NOT be transferred. Vbucks that you Earn CAN be transferred.

yes, we had 8 charges for vbucks daily when no one was even home. Microsoft insisted my son made them. We do not have vbucks in our account--just charges for them. I'm having to fight this using the bank.
