    I bought Minecraft windows 10 from the Microsoft Store and intended to buy Minecraft Java Edition. Is there any way I can get a refund?

    Did you buy "Minecraft Master Collection" or "Minecraft for Windows 10 Master Collection"? The first is only for the console. You would need to purchase the Window 10 edition to play it on PC.

    If you purchased the wrong version, you'll want to submit a refund request and then purchase the correct version.
