    Hello,

    In December 2018, I bought Minecraft starter edition for my son from the store. Yesterday, I wanted to install this on a different device, but I accidentally bbought the same item again. It shows nw twice in my order history. How is this even possible? Is
    there a way to cancel this and refund? I have no need for a second license.

    The redeem button as well as most help pages about refunds give an error right now. I'll try again later but this is getting very frustrating... sigh...

    To add to what the rest of the posters have said.

    The only way that you would have gotten the same game is if you bought a different version of the game, as an example:

    You buy the standard version of the game it will then allow you to purchase the deluxe version of the game. '

    You say you bought the Minecraft starter edition are you sure you then did not go and just purchase the regular Minecraft.

    This would be the only way that I could see that the purchase would be made on the same account.

    If you could make the purchase again, it sounds like you tried it from another account and not the one that made the purchase back at the time.

    You could check the purchase history an check if you could get a refund for it. If it not works go to https://support.xbox.com/en-US/browse/billing. There you could set up an call back and explain the situation to the support team. Maybe they could help
    you.
