Purchased Saints Row 4 DLC Game on Husband's Gold Account but I can't use it on mine.

My husband has a Gold account so he buys the games and I use them on my account.

He already has changed his account to be a shared Gold account so I have full access to his stuff.

I'm playing Saints Row 4, and used his Gold to download the DLC (it can only be purchased from the game menu as I couldn't find it in the game store.. But I don't know how to access it from my game. It doesn't show up in the quests. It's supposed to show
up after an hour of Gameplay and I'm almost done with the game.

When I go to the downloadable content in MY game account it says it needs to be purchased. I'm not going to do that again as I already paid for it.

Does the DLC need to be loaded? or is this an xbox account issue since it was an in-game purchase on my husbands account?

Any help from anyone would be appreciated

ACCIDENTAL PURCHASE

I was going around the marketplace to look for DLC for GTA 4 and Saints Row 2 ( accidentally purchased) and i actually bought the REAL game of GTA 4 and Saints Row 2 on the marketplace and iam really upset cause i have the disk for both games purchased
, and i thought 'YOUR SO STUPID MAN!' then my cousion purchased GTA San Andreas .... Is there any way of a refund for GTA 4 and Saints Row 2??? PLEASE REPLY OR MSG ME AT MY GAMERTAG !..Thanks Guys!!!!

 

Xbox live gold

I purchased xbox live gold for my husband's xbox one and my xbox one but we both can't use it. I didn't have to purchase one for each account before so don't understand why we both can't use it when we are using the same WiFi in
the same house. We are using separate xbox ones so we both can't play our online games on our profiles. How can i enjoy xbox live on my Xbox one without logging into my husband's profile

 

Alright what I can recommend is to make sure the DLC is actually installed to your Xbox's harddrive. Sign in as your husband and check your Saint Row 4 game files by going to 'My Games and Apps' and clicking start on SR4 and selecting Manage Game. See if
the DLC is installed or if it's in the ready to install list.

DLC is shareable across accounts since it's not like a Season Pass licensing. However, I've never played SR4, and since you said you bought it from the game menu, it might be some kind of odd DLC licensing.

Just to be sure his account was actually charged, check the email he has associated with the Gamertag to see a receipt, go have him sign in here

Sorry to hear about the issue. To clarify a bit - It sounds like you're playing the Xbox 360 version of Saints Row IV via the Xbox One console's Backward Compatibility feature, is this correct? Let's try a little troubleshooting first and see if that works.

• Uninstall the game and any/all DLC
  
• Power Cycle your Xbox One
  
• Re-download the content
• Make sure the account that owns the content is signed in as well
• Try again

@His Pet Leaf you are correct. That did the trick. I'm new to the One interface and didn't know about the Manage Game section. And that's where it was.
