Purchased PUBG on XBOX APP, download wont begin. I only get a notification that "install...

PUBG is not available for purchase through the Microsoft Store for PC. So the version you purchased is only for the console. You would have to purchase it from Steam or another store were the PC version is available.

I'm having the same issue as the original poster. The microsoft store won't allow me to install, the Xbox app allows me to begin the install but before I get to 1 percent it gives me error code 0x00000001 and my only option is to cancel the download.

I've deleted the game pass version of both games. It will not even begin to install off disk. All other games work. This was an issue with PUBG for months. I just purchased Sea of thieves yesterday and haven't had it on my system in months. I put the disc
in nothing happens. But before that I had the same issue with PUBG. I deleted the gamepass version and went to install it off the disc I just bought and it would not recognize the disc

Sadly only New purchasers of The Xbox one X console get PUBG for free.

I've tried all that. I've even tried logging in using a different xbox profile.

Nothing I do will get the app to install on my Xbox One X.

I just don't understand why the app will download just fine on my OG Xbox One but totally fail to download on my Xbox One X even after a full factory reset. It's just baffling.

If it wasn't for the fact that it's the only app that wont install I would assume my X is faulty. But all other games and apps I try install fine.
