    Purchased Pre-Order of NHL 17 through promotion. Order was cancelled I'd like to get same price


    Purchased Pre-Order of NHL 17 through a special NHL 16 promotion. I was taken to a purchase screen and put in my card info then purchased the game. I was taken to a download screen and downloaded the game. The order was cancelled and I didnt even realize
    until the trial ran out. I contacted microsoft the uncancell the order but the price on the package has in creased by $20. I would like to get the same price as when I originally purchased the game. Not the upgraded price because of demand/server. If I can
    not get the original price I really have no desire to purchase the game as the NHL series has gone downhill since the switch to next gen console.

    i pre ordered 3 games but i never got my third games to be registered in my punchcard

    how would I know to go through the hassle for the promotion? It is misleading at best.

    Terms and conditions for promotions can be found on the program's FAQ page which did state that the purchases had to be made on or after October 1.
    Same thing happened with me. It's stupid. Some people, like myself, pre-order early just to get that cost out of the way and we're not even considered. The only one I did before the promotion was Call of Duty on September 23rd and if that's the T&C, then
    they need to adjust the fact that it says you "pre-ordered" in the promo section. The hassle of going through support to cancel, then to re-order is just plain time consuming. This, and price drops by 25% or more like a month or so after release has turned
    me of from pre-ordering. Gonna start waiting for sales to buy my games (Digital or Physical ). The money I'll save will trump the pittance I get in this "rewards program"

    Got the same problem and pre ordered Forza Horizon 3, NHL 17, Bioshock Collection and Batman return to Arkham. Still no reward. Didn't have to pre order but with the promo I decided why not. Shouldn't have and won't pre order again. I'm not happy right now.

    Rewards is a joke

    Pre-orders constantly count toward their own promotions. If they permitted pre-orders as part of MyVip people could abuse that and purchase/cancel items which would just cause a whole new set of issues.

    If you don't like that pre-orders don't qualify (which is fair), the simple solution is to wait until it launches and it will qualify.
