Purchased movie through Xbox

You can watch purchased or rented movies through microsoft tv and movies on your console.

An email confirmation of the purchase should be received through the main email or alias of your Microsoft account. That is interesting that you did not receive it.

Is this happening to other purchases you made?

May we ask what movie you purchased?

Also, where did you purchased the movie? Is it through Microsoft Store on Xbox Console or PC or through a website?

Did you make this purchase through the Xbox movie app? If so, have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the app?

Try restoring your purchases through the settings menu of the app.

Open the Movies & TV app

Swipe to the left to go to My Videos

Select Account Management

Select Purchased Movies

Press the X button to refresh purchase history

Let this run for a couple minutes and then try playing your movie again.

Hey there! Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm afraid there is no feature to transfer purchased movies from the Xbox One console from a USB drive to your laptop. However, you should be able to watch these movies on your laptop if you have a Windows 10 device
& the Movies & TV
app installed. If you sign in under the account that purchased those movies, you should be able to watch them through the app.
