    Purchased movie disappeared


    I purchased The Grand Budapest Hotel back when it was released on xbox video and watched it. It was showing under "collection" in xbox video a few weeks ago when I went in to check if a TV show had a new season one.

    Tonight I went to watch it again with all the oscar buzz and it wasn't there. When I searched for it on Xbox video it says I need to buy it again to watch it. I have purchased a few TV series but the only movie I have bought off the xbox was grand budapest.

    So I contact support, and support tells me I've never purchased it. They didn't care that I had a visa statement showing a purchase that day from microsoft billing.

    In short, it appears as though the things you buy from xbox video can disappear.

    In the future is there somewhere I can download the content to? I don't want to throw my money away purchasing things I can't keep.

    All My Movies and TV Shows are missing.

    All of my movies and tv shows I've purchased have completely disappeared. I have purchased over 100's of dollars on this. I know for certain I had the movies listed. The Comebacks, Jennifers Body, I Spit on Your Grave, Battle Los Angelis, Resident Evil:
    Afterlife and many more. I also know that I had many episodes of Naruto Shippuden, RJ Burger, and other random TV shows purchased. I am unaware of how these shows disappeared but I think it has something to do with an update or transferring my account to Xbox
    One. I have tried the refresh purchases option too. They also show up on this site. http://video.xbox.com/collection

    Same here. i had ten films in my collection. Then I log on today to watch Secret Life of Walter Mitty, and discover it along with everything else has disappeared. It worked fine before.

    I lost 6 movies recently after the xbox video app updated and they were purchased between late 2011 and 2013 microsoft refused to refund my movies i lost and were very rude. I restored my purchase history on the xbox one and they are still gone. I could
    watch them the night before too so be careful they could just disappear anyway since you cant download them now and microsoft will not be of any help.

    We're in the same boat. I can pull up movies online and see them there, but nothing on the console and no way it seems to get them back.

    I had this same issue but on Xbox One. My movies disappeared for like a month or so. Ill pass this thread along to sime people who can look into it for you. It would be helpful if you could list the content you are missing too.
