Purchased gift game won't download

So I purchased a digital version of Rocket League as a gift from the xbox store on my console, but haven't been able to download it cause it keeps saying not in the same region and I haven't been able to cancel the order, plus It has been a pain trying to
reach chat support for assistance.

What's the point of having gift purchase on the xbox store when there are still restrictions? is the assumption that we must or all be in the same region or cannot know people from other region?

10+10$ Store Gift Code Didnt Send To Me

I purchased two game on microsoftstore.com on 3 and 4 october. they are gears of war 4 download code+10$ store gift code. Store gift code is promotion near the gers of war 4 download code. So its free. In the mail you say " 10$ store gift code will send
you 10 business day after game released" but codes did not reach me. Today is 16.business day.

Purchased puzzles won't download

I've used my coins from completing puzzles to "purchase" additional puzzles however they won't download. Why?

They must be both on the same region. The region that you are currently located.

I would like to clarify, is your kid able to redeem the code on his account? If yes, simply perform a powercycle and check the full library.

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

He gifted it to me and he is from the UK and if keeps saying that i cannot download it bc its outside of this region.

Gifting is region specific and the user is warned about this at the time of purchase. Sadly you won't be able to redeem the code on your account. You should get your friend to request a refund for the item.
