    Purchased Games on Child's Xbox Account


    I recently bought a game (Sea of Thieves for PC) for my son who has a child account due to his age. I was signed in under my Windows account but HIS Xbox account. As long as I am signed in to Windows he can see and play the game but if is he signed in
    with his Windows account he cannot. Is this a privacy/security issue? I can't see anywhere to enable so he can see the game under his account.

    That particular error appears when attempting to purchase Xbox 360 games on an Xbox One with a child account. If you're using a child account you'll need to make the purchase from an Xbox 360 or have a parent account purchase the game for you. Thanks for your

    If you have a child account you need to buy it on a 360 console

    Xbox one account restrictions and permissions don't apply to xbox 360 games

    However parental settings must be set for xbox child accounts for purchases including Web purchases

    You should be able to make the purchase on the child account by giving parental consent. The other option would be to purchase a gift card for the child account.
