    So, for instance, if I have an xbox one version of Borderlands 2 (as a digital copy), it wont work on a 360? even though this game is backwards compatible?

    Backwarda xomoatible games only run forward, that means most of you xbox 360 games will run on xbox one...

    Xbox one games will never run in xbox 360 since it is going back to a previous platform

    Games consoles are made backwards compatible with Xbox but none of them are forward compatible so unfortunately unless its actually a 360 games you bought on your xbox one you wont be able too
