Purchased gamer pic not available.

I had purchased a gamer pic pack from xbox live and it Xbox One is not allowing me to use it. The only gamer pics that I am seemingly allowed to use are the common default pics. I have contacted customer support via phone and yet, I am told to post here
to help instead.

I would very much like to use the pics I had purchased. Why is it that I am not able to on the Xbox One? I bought them for a reason and I am not given an option to use them. Please, can someone assist with my issue?

Gamer picture location?

I like your spiderman gamer pic better, just saiyen. Sometimes picture packs are no longer available for purchase and are only available to those who have already purchased them.

 

Personalized Backgrounds and Gamer Pics

Do you have your interface background set to a certain theme, or do you just use the default choice? What about for your gamer pic?

I use the free Pizza Hut theme that was available for download awhile back. What can I say, I like pizza. I haven't been too happy with the generic gamer pics, though.

 

There are currently no gamer pics you can purchase for use on the One. The gamerpic packs are only for use on the 360. If I remember correctly, it's a resolution issue between the 2 systems.

 

Many of my friends are able to still use their pics when they switched to xb1. Mine was displayed until the console asked me to update my avatar, which I didn't want to use in the first place. I feel like in order to get my pic back, I have to buy a 360
again just to have it displayed.

Do you happen to know if they are going to allow the pics on xb1 in the near future?

 

Once you change your gamerpic on the One, there is no way to go back to a 360 gamerpic. So if your friends haven't changed theirs, then that's why they still have them. Even if you change your gamerpic on the 360 it will not be displayed on the One.

There is no word on if/when 360 gamerpics can be used on the One.

 

Alright. That is rather irritating and saddening at the same time. It's odd to me that paid content is no longer usable.

Yeah, it sucks but is just the way it is All those pictures were in very low resolution, so they could not transfer them over without going back through each and every pic and updating the graphics... which would be a VERY long process.
