Purchased game won't play

Hello NoddyGirl, by your description you have everything correct on your console, however this game may need some updating.

The ideal is to connect the console to the network if you can, check for updates and then check if you can play offline.

error code 0x803F8001. Take a peek at that and follow the steps outlined there. If you purchased the game digitally, you should see it listed in your
My Games section. If you don't see it there but believe you purchased it on this account, you can reach out to our
phone or chat teams and have them dig through your purchases and entitlements to see if they can figure out what's going on. They are able to take a closer look at your account than we can as
we are public facing.

in the games and apps tab, select Elder Scrolls and press the Menu button. select Manage Game and Addons and uninstall the game then reinstall it.

There is nothing to worry about, but if the game was purchased with another account. You won't be able to play it without the account it was purchased with
