    Purchased game on Microsoft Online store: not showing up on home screen


    I purchased a digital copy of a game for Xbox One S on the Microsoft Online Store. Initially, it showed up in the que for download (I purchased two games and it was second). However, once the first game was complete with the download, I could no longer
    see the download in the que. Not sure if it matters but my son started playing the first game once it was complete so I assumed that the second game would start its download in the background...but it's now disappeared. When I go to the store, it lists the
    game as "owned" but it doesn't show up anywhere on the home page of the Xbox. I'm new to the Xbox menu system since it's been many years since my last system and if anyone can shed some light on this, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

    The Games with Gold section normally shows up on your home screen, but if you can't find it there, you can always find it online at

    www.xbox.com/.../sales-and-specials

    There should also be a Game demos section that shows up in the store. Go right to Store, then down to Games store, and it was underneath the Backwards compatible section for me.

    You can "purchase" the games online and they will download to your console.

    On your console, what is showing up in the tiles on the right side of your home screen? If you sign out, and sign back in through the guide, does anything change?

    got a new smart tv, going to Xbox thru tv app, but my old stored games can't be found ?

    The game console is connected to the Smart TV, so when I turn on no home screen shows up with my apps or games I had purchased before.

    All digitally purchased games on an account will automatically show up in the ready to install section of the console that is set as the home console.

    One way you can test this is sign into your friends account on your console and go to the store and search for a game that he says he owns digitally and if it says that it needs to be purchased then he does not own it if it says to install then he does own
    it and it should show up in ready to install as long as your console is set as his profiles home console.

    There are also filters at the top of the screen now under games that show what is installed and what can be installed you want to make sure that you are under what can be installed instead of what is already installed.

    Hey there JackInTheBox996.

    Have you tried pinning the game to your home screen? If you haven't done so, that should keep the game showing on your home screen even if you're not playing it.
