Purchased game isn't working as it should....only one mode and should be two.

I purchased Terraria and it won't let me select multi player mode. Cannot get any help thru MS support pages. When I select multiplayer mode, a box comes up requiring to sign up for a monthly XBOX Game Pass. Why is this happening and what is the solution. I can't even go thru the refund process to see if there is help there. The MS support web pages are a joke. How do I get to an actual live person for help? Any suggestions?

Hello there!

Regarding your issue, you will need to first make sure that the account you are signed in with has a Xbox live gold subscription. Because it is required to have Xbox live gold in order to play Online multiplayer on the game.

The following troubleshooting step will help you check and make sure that your subscription is active and that everything is up to date:

1- Click on Xbox button on your controller and go to settings.

2- Select settings and then go to account.

3- Select subscriptions.

There you can check if the account you are signed in with has an active subscription or not.

Yes you should be able to play with two people from the same XBOX 360 with two controllers plugged in. As far as if there is an exhibition game, that is something I do not know. But plugging in two controllers or using two wireless controllers should work
in any game mode that has a vs mode to it as it states on the back cover of the game players 1-2 and online 2 players.

There isn't an option to own two digital copies of a game on one account. If you received a disc version of Gears of War 4, you should be able to purchase a digital copy of it.

As far as I'm aware two disc games become one disc games on Xbox one as it isn't actually playing off the disc. It gets downloaded from the market place. So it should work fine.

What's free anymore with ANY game, system, developer... There is no going back to a one time hardcopy game purchase system. Its all DLC and " credits", VIP playpasses and the sort. Frustrating YES but in fairness one can play the game with friends online
without having to purchase anything extra, Ive tossed away gears3 hardcopy after two dlc purchases and still didnt have the required content to play some modes online with friends. 60$ and 1800 ms pts and still shut out ... thats a head banger... Spartacus
isn't costing a dime to purchase only to enhance what it already offers and personally every game should be this way if DLC is going to be jammed down the masses throats
