Purchased game inadvertently - can I get a credit

I thought I was only paying $79 to download a game & told my mum because this was the same price as in store. I was charged $99 & my mum is angry. Can I get uninstall & get a credit? Why do games cost more to download than they do buy on disc in store?

Inadvertently Purchased wrong version of a game- can I get my money back on the other one? I went ahead and purchased the right version but can I get a refund or credit on the wrong version?

 

xbox one purchase error / online chat support problem

1. My son inadvertently purchased add-on content for a game instead of the game itself on xbox one. I'm trying to figure out how to get support to get a credit on that so he can purchase the game instead.

2. I've tried to use online chat help, because that's the only help I can find, but it requires a name to be entered, and yet won't let me type in the name fields. Help! (a support phone number or insight into the grayed out name fields would be great.)

Because stores control their prices publishers control digital prices not ms

And you have to contact support

When purchasing a game, it does state that all sales are final, however you could reach out to official support to see if they'd be willing, in this one off case, to give you a refund, you can contact them here:
