Purchased Destiny Expansion Pass on XB1 - want it on 360 too!

So I noticed either on the marketplace or on a forum that you buy the season pass and you get it for both 360 and One. Finally decided this week to go ahead and purchase the content - I happened to be on the One at the time and so did it there. Today I am
on the 360 and it tells me I do not have the content - the store seems to suggest that I need to buy it again but it clearly says that purchasing it gives you it for both consoles. Checking the Xbox one marketplace and it doesn't say anything about the xbox
360. The only reason I have two copies of the game is because I have friends I play with in either console - and I was told on the store that purchases on one console carry over. In hindsight I should have bought it on the 360 marketplace, or read the small
print on the xbox one marketplace - however I've been shown the deal and paid the money - can I either have the money back or just give me the expansion pass on my 360 too?

Destiny Expansion pass mishaps

I have Xbox live gold, an Xbox 360, and a Xbox One. I purchased the Destiny expansion pass for the Xbox One, which worked perfectly. I then tried to download it on my 360, however for some reason it says i do not have the expansion for the 360.

I read the description for the Xbox 360 Destiny Expansion pass, and it specifically says that this would unlock both versions. It would make sense that either version of the pass would unlock on both the 360, and the One.

I don't have much hope that this can be rectified by some fancy button that somebody can tell me how to find, but at least i can try.

Any ideas?

Yes, when you buy the Destiny Limited Edition or Destiny Ghost Edition on Xbox 360 and redeem the Expansion Pass by January 15, 2015, you will also be able to download it on Xbox One by doing the following:

- Log into your Xbox 360 and redeem the token for the Destiny Expansion Pass on Xbox Live on or before January 15, 2015.

- Log into your Xbox One using the same Microsoft Account (Xbox Live Account) used to redeem the Destiny Expansion Pass on Xbox 360.

- Navigate to the Expansion Pass within the Destiny content page in the Xbox Store.

- Add the item to your download queue and wait for the download to complete.

A physical or digital Xbox One version of the Destiny game will be required to play this content on Xbox One, sold separately.

Expansion Pass content (which includes Expansions I and II) will only be available for full download once released.

You can try contacting support to see if they'll refund it so you can purchase it on the 360 and have it for both, otherwise, you'd have to purchase it separately for the 360. Although, everything on the marketplace does state that there are no refunds,

Bungie has made some modifications to Destiny, it has posted this notice in the Microsoft store.

Which upgrade are you wanting? Are you upgrading from legacy console (Xbox 360) or simply wanting to purchase the Destiny: Rise of Iron expansion for your current copy of Destiny (The Taken King or other)?

From the Bungie announcements and description on the Xbox Store it would seem as though the Destiny: The Collection Upgrade is the option for legacy console owners who upgrade to Xbox One , and will be made available soon, whereas the Destiny: The Collection
option is for people wanting to purchase everything currently available as well as the Rise of Iron expansion for when it comes out, so is this the option you are wanting? Or if you are wanting the Rise of Iron expansion exclusively, there is also the option
for that.
