    Purchased Content Transfer Between Consoles


    I have an xbox 360 currently, and I am looking to buy an xbox one. I have Fifa 15 and a few other games purchased on my xbox. Are these games transferred and changed into the xbox one editions when I switch?

    Help is there anyway to transfer old DLC from Old account to new Account

    You can't transfer content between accounts. You need to do a licence transfer with the account you downloaded the content to the new console.

    In order to then play that content on you new account the profile that purchased the content needs to be on your console aswell.

    Transfer data question.

    Hi, to transfer content licences associated with your console you must sign in to the console with the profile used to purchase the content. Once signed in go to Settings > account > billing options and select licence transfer following the on screen instructions to transfer the licences to the new console so other profiles can use the content. Content can not be transfered across profiles only across consoles - hope this helps

    No, they count separately.

    However, some games have special upgrade offers that will allow you to get the Xbox One version at a reduced price or even free. For example, both Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (before 31st March 2015) and Destiny will allow you to download the version
    for Xbox One for free if you digitally purchased the version on Xbox 360. However, it is decided by publishers whether to offer something like this so it will vary between games.

    licence transfer question

    There is no way to transfer content between accounts. However, you can access the content if you are using the same console that she purchases the content on.

    License transfers are used to transfer console licenses between consoles, not accounts.

    Hey there Bubblez! Downloaded games cannot be transferred between accounts, like Daft said. When you purchase content, it is bound to the profile that purchased it and the console it was purchased on. License transfers will not let you transfer a game between
    profiles.

    Unfortunately the answer to your question is no. Content can not be transfered between gamertag (on consoles with a content license transfer), however some content that is downloaded by one gamertags can access the same content on the console that the content
    was origianlly downloaded to. As for between two consoles, content licensing restricts that and you would have to download each on to your wifes console from her gamertag which means making a purchase.
