Purchased and Installed Mortal kombat, but not not able to open post xbox live membership...

As others have mentioned, it's not compatible and no more updates are planned at this point.

You'll need to pick up an original Xbox console to play it.

Mortal Kombat games that are supported on the Xbox 360 are:

- Mortal Kombat: Deception (offline only)

- Mortal Kombat: Armageddon (offline only)

- Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (no longer available for new purchasers)

- Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe

- Mortal Kombat (2011)

- Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection

Generally speaking, only 5 games from the franchise aren't supported.

As I mentioned before, when playing on an Xbox 360 and Xbox LIVE Gold membership is required to play. This isn't required on a PC but note that
Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection does not support cross-platform play.
