Purchased a used xbox360 that was not reset, and it has parental controls enabled

So, as the title says. I purchased a used xbox360, and the previous owner did not remove the parental controls before selling it.

With the Xbox One, I can use a USB to do a total reset of the system, but have not found that on the 360.

Can anyone assist with this? I have already formated the storage, and none of that helped.

Hi, you can enable parental controls in your or yours son´s account. With it enable you can disable purchases over xbox.com or you console.

Just folow these steps :

This sounds like you have a child Xbox Live account and need parental permissions to enable your account on a new system.

OR

The previous Xbox owner has/had parental controls enabled on their system and needs to be
removed before enabling your account. Please contact the previous owner to remove their account from the system you purchased.

The Xbox system itself also has a parental control feature in the settings of the console. No account needed to enable this feature.
