    Purchased a digital game just before it went on sale


    I just purchased the KI Ultra Edition not even a week ago, only to find out that it's on sale as of today. I'm pretty sure I already know what the answer will be, but is it still possible to receive the discount if we literally just bought it?

    Nope sorry. Offers are only valid from the times the go live so if you bought the game before the deal you just missed out, sorry.

    Im 99% sure that the answer will be no, but I purchased easports UFC on the 4th, and it went on sale this week. I was wondering if there was any way to get the money I could've saved back?

    It's highly unlikely, but you could try asking Billing Phone Support, although chances are they will not entertain the request as all purchases do say 'no refunds' and so on and this was more poor timing than anything else, but at least you will have asked.

    You would need to try contacting support and speak to billing, but there is no guarantee that they will issue one.

    I'm just now finding out about digital games!

    When you buy anything digitally, not just video games, you're only buying a license to use the content, not the game itself. So the company can pull your access at any time. (Again, this applies to other digital content not just video games). It's what you agree to when you make the purchase (the terms and conditions are available before you complete your purchase).

    Digital prices drop constantly and there are constantly sales on digital games.
