    Purchase PILOT manufacturing date.


    Has anyone noticed the manufacture date of their Xbox received through the pilot program? The Series X I received shows a manufacture date of December 2020. That surprised me. Have they been sitting in a warehouse somewhere for all that time? Why?

    A little clarification here; The warranty on a new console starts on the date of purchase, not the date of manufacture.

    I got the day 1 edition console with kinect. My console was born 2 months before xbox 1 released worldwide. All were seeing now are children consoles made after that. Microsoft also autographed my controller for me too. find it hard to believe? that what
    microsoft did with the day 1 editions. and you got an achievement for it to. I see xbox 1 day 1 consoles second hand ones selling in NZ easy for NZ$300. You can charge as much as you want cuz its rare to find geniune day 1 edition consoles which have the controller
    autographed by microsoftm when scorpio come out i might sell my day 1 edition minus kinect for NZ $1000 and people would buy it lol.

    I wouldn't.

    A lot of the early xbox ones develop disc drive issues & I speak from experience with this.

    There are also a few other issues that seem to happen quite often.

    I'm not saying every early xbox one can or will develop faults but i'd go for a more recent model if I was you.
