    Purchase overlay in VUDU app.


    I have an issue when trying to buy movies on VUDU... When you select a movie and the xbox system has the overlay for the purchase, the screen darkens and blackens the square where the purchase options show up, but nothing shows. It's like the transition
    from the app into the systems purchase environment just freezes. I am able to exit out by pressing the xbox button

    Anyone have this problem and then fixed it?

    Purchases in Vudu on Xbox One don't prompt for pass code.

    I have my Xbox profile configured so that any time a purchase is attempted, a pre-configured pass code must be entered. The Xbox One Vudu app does not appear to support this. Purchases in the Xbox store prompt as expected but Vudu allows purchases
    to process without entering that pass code.

    Needless to say, this is a huge flaw for those of us with small kids in the house who could make purchases, bypassing the safeguards in place.

    I'm hoping this is a bug and not the intended function of the Vudu app.

    Refund Issues After Digital Purchase

    You have to address it with vudu as thr purchase was made thru them

    In app purchases are thru the vendor as per the refund policy

    If they couldn't proccess it then no ms can't do anything about it

    If it had been a xbox store purchase then you can contact xbox

    But since it's a vudu same with Disney plus or google YouTube premium purchase (now that Google movies is gone )

    You have to address the library with them

    Hi Vespula,

    You may also want to consider contacting
    Vudu     since it is their app and these are where the purchases are made. There may be an issue within the app that is duplicating the charges. We are sorry for the way the refunds work. The wait is usually from the banks themselves. Do you get this duplicate
    charge from purchasing directly from Microsoft store or any other app? If not then there is most likely something going on with the Vudu app.

    Why does the vudu app take forever to load and feels like it's only half the app as any other version. My Xbox 360, ps3, and smart tv have about the same options, but the Xbox one versions are missing parts from the my vudu section to organize by purchase
    date, a-z, categories, and it goes on and on.

    VUDU app failing on Xbox since early March

    I have XBOX series X VUDU Black screen issue ( app wont launch) since Late AUG 2021, there was an xbox update in OCTOBER introducing additional support and settings for Dolby vision and HDR and whatever that was made the VUDU app worked again, however it has been short lived as I have made a purchase on VUDU on 11/29 and now I get a black screen on xbox when launching, does this VUDU app not work with certain resolutions that fight tv and XBOX, it works on PS5 , it works through my SONY Television, I'm curious if the latest update that was pushed about a week ago has crippled the VUDU app again... any help or suggestions would be appreciated, so done with functionality not working with NEXT GEN tech, we can go to space but can't get an app to stream on a streaming device, very frustrated XBOX user....
