Availability on the Microsoft store depends on each developer, in this case Ubisoft has their own launcher and store.
So, this means that if you want to play Far cry 5 on PC. You need to purchase the game in the Ubisoft launcher (something similar happen to another Ubisoft games like AC Origins)

Most of the Ubisoft games requires an Ubisoft account, you can link this account with your Microsoft account (but you can have a completely separate Ubisoft account)

If you don't want to pay for game pass only to play a single game. Your best option is purchase the game directly

If your Microsoft account was previously linked to another Ubisoft account, you must first unlink it in your Ubisoft subscription account management. Afterward, you must relink the Ubisoft account used for the purchase of Ubisoft+ to ensure smooth access to your subscription on Xbox.

Managing or canceling your subscription must be done on the platform where you purchased it.
