    ‘Purchase in progress, this shouldn’t take too long’ has taken over 30 mins


    I am trying to install a skin pack from Minecraft marketplace and the message that the purchase is in progress is taking a while. I attempted to cancel the purchase by closing down Minecraft since I just wanted to play, only for it to show up with ‘Let’s continue the purchase’ and back to the same loading screen as before. I’m not sure if this is normal but I play on a Chromebook, which usually isn’t too bad on these servers. Any advice would be appreciated

    We haven’t recieved verification code at all. I just got a receipt of purchase. No code to use. So frustrating. Its taken over two says to connect this with no result yet. It shouldn’t be this hard.

    GTA 5 install frozen/stuck at 73%!!

    I have just encountered this problem. Purchased the game yesterday via digital download. Has now been over 30 hours and appears stuck on 73%. In my games and apps the gta5 appears complete and nothing is queued. However on start up the GTA loading screen
    appears with 73%.

    Please help as this is taking way too long

    Oh boy....... who's going to be the first to take legal action against MS for not telling us what was in the update!?.... (Huge conspiracy theory going on here!!)....

    I started the update at 8pm last night, it took a good 30 mins to complete; never has any update taken more than 10 mins from start to re-start for me......

    Take the power cable out of your Xbox, take out the disc, blow the dust from the air ventils away and let the xbox cool down for 30 min. and try again. And the loud noise the Xbox makes when it starts a game is just the engine of the Xbox breathing a little
    extra since your opening a game/app that is closed :)
