Want to check if i where to purchase a Game in Australia. Will i be able to play the game in my singapore machine? Thanks.

Game regions and redeem codes

Can I purchase a game from another country that has the same game region and will it work properly on my xbox? Also if I purchase redeem codes and xbox live subscriptions from these countries will they work here in australia?

Is your gamertag set for Australia? Have you tried making the purchase from your console instead of the website?

I haven’t purchased any games off the Microsoft website as far as I know. And I’m from Australia, and I believe Minecraft is available in my country.

Exactly. "The Impossible Game" is an Xbox Indie game. The Indie games are not available in Australia because they do not have an OFLC classification.

Incidentally, that game is NOT even listed on the Australian Xbox Live Marketplace. Take a look at the top left corner of this screen, it will display default country. You will need to change
it to Australia (just click on it). Content from other countries can not be purchased.

That's the sign of a region issue. Since you purchased the game in Australia, your account and physical location would have to be Australia in order to redownload it. There is no way around region locking.
