    Purchase an xbol live redeem code but it became a game ultimate pass.


    I purchase an xbox live for 12 months redeem code but when i apply my code to the xbox live account it became a game ultimte pass for 3 months. Can i get a refund for the xbox live code and cancel the ultimate pass. I guess if you have a previous game
    pass it will automatically redeem the code as it was. It was my mistake that i didnt added the code under the xbox live gold section.

    You would have to contact support to see if they can do anything http://support.xbox.com/contact-us

    The process for redeeming all codes is the same. The gold should only convert to Ultimate if you added it while already having an Ultimate subscription.

    Unfortunately the conversion is automatic if you have an active Ultimate Subscription.
