PUBG too big for my tv screen

does anyone know how to resize the game to fit my tv screen. I can’t see the compass properly on the top of the screen and both sides you can only see half the text or images. I’ve looked for the screen options but can’t find them. Help me obi wan you’re my
only hope.

I've tried everything and I don't know where to go next. It's only the TV which I find strange. Everything else is sized perfectly and no problems at all. But a good couple inches top and bottom get cut off when in use. Originally this wasn't a problem,
the picture fit fine. This just started happening a week or 2 ago.

Yes, i've resized and reset through the Xbox Display and the TV itself. Calibrated and reset TV functions and OneGuide as well.

Anyone else have a tip for getting the picture to fit?

Exactly, OP, just don't choose 16:9, As Farscape said you want "just Scan" or "Fit to screen" or whatever terminology your tv manufacturer uses.

 

I have the same problem. Make sure you've checked your tv's settings to do with resolution and aspect ratio. Also, make sure in Xbox settings that video output is selected to either HDMI or other (recommended doesn't seem to be the best setting). Neither
of these has worked for me but have worked for others so they're worth a go. But yes lots of people are having the same problem and I hope it gets fixed soon.

Is it doing only inside this game?

If yes, more likely is from the game, so it needs to be addressed to the developers.

I also suggest to check the TV settings, change the resolution, maybe a reset to the TV, to fact defaults might help

 

I have this same issue, other games are fine or I can change it - not PUBG sadly.

 

Did the patch fix this for you?

 

I used to have the same problem when the game came out and i spent month blaming it on the game but then I realized that it wasn't the game it was my tv screen size settings that i had to adjust, I've told this to many people and so far it worked.

 

i had to adjust the settings on the tv itself to fit it properly
