    PSA my series X kept shutting off within a minute or two of starting. I've tried resetting it to fix the problem that didn't work, but turning off HDMI CEC corrected the issue. My LG CX wasn't working with HDMI CEC anyway.

    Not Solved: Xbox series X crashing to dashboard or completely shutting off all together

    I have the exact same problem with our brand new series x. Thought it was overheating but after troubleshooting, it is completely shutting off around 9-15 minutes. I factory reset and the time between crashes is longer--45 minutes--but still crashing. Same result with different games. Seems silly to return the xbox for a new with the possibility of the same thing happening. Any resolution on how to fix this ASAP is desired!

    Seems to be an issue many others have had.

    Loading up any game will cause the xbox to shut down and restart. Its random but within 5 minutes of playing.

    •I've tried the following:

    Clearing the cache.

    •Wiping my account (or unenrolling)

    •Hard reset.

    Even tried uninstalling the games several times.

    Yeah i was having this problem for a few tries but then i just shut off my xbox and kept putting the disc in and it only took like 3 minutes to work. Try shutting off your xbox with the disc inside when it says unrecognized. It might help!

    I am having the exact same issues. Just started after last patch and has been getting worse. For the last two days I have struggled with the game just shutting off and now sometimes I can’t even get it to open. My Xbox seems to be working fine. Please someone respond with a fix to this? I love this game and have worked very hard to get my series X. If I have lost either of these things I think I’m gonna go ballistic!?!?!?
