PS5 friends not showing in Fortnite

Just a friendly reminder though that for in-game issues it is handled by the game support but let me help you, here's what I found on Epic's end:

"If you’re cross-playing Fortnite on your console, but don’t see the Epic Friends button in the main menu, make sure your game privacy settings are set to Friends Only or Public."

Here you go:

"1. In Fortnite, select the Fortnite menu icon.

2. Change the Game Privacy settings to Friends Only or Public."

As an additional help, you may need to set these settings on your Xbox profile. You can simply sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings and from there make sure that these settings are set to “allow” or “everyone”:

* You can see and upload community creations

* You can communicate outside of Xbox Live with voice & text

* Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites

* You can play with people outside of Xbox Live

* You can create and join clubs

* You can join multiplayer games

Make sure to hit “submit” when you made any changes.

Unfortunately have done all those things and everything is as open as possible and set to Everyone or Public. Have a Nintendo Switch friend and other Xbox users just seems to be PS5. They have other xbox x friends just can't see me and I can't find them

Use the PlayStation Store:

Open the PlayStation Store on your PS5.

Search for "Fortnite Crew" and select it.

Follow the prompts to subscribe to the Fortnite Crew.

Use the Fortnite Game on PS5:

Launch Fortnite on your PS5.

Go to the Item Shop and scroll down to find the Fortnite Crew option.

Select it and follow the prompts to subscribe.

Hi All,

I was having the same issue on PS5 where my MW2 status always shows me offline but my PS5 status in set to Online. I could join friends online but they couldn’t send me invites because I always showed as offline. What finally fixed it for me was to login to my Activision account through my PC and web browser. Then on the Activision site I was able to set my profile to “Online” and then back on PS5 and MW2 my status finally was corrected.
