    I still have not received a promotional gift card code for the Sebastion Loeb Racing game that I pre-ordered on March 14th, 2016. The offer noted that I would receive the $10.00 code after the product shipped.

    In essence, the offer is being treated as if pre-ordering during the time period is the important step, when all games included are scheduled to be released during that period, implying that the reward is for pre-ordering games released during those dates,
    not for performing the act of preorder at that time

    At the very least, please take this as honest feedback and a recommendation against doing such a promotion in future if this is how it will be handled.

    Hey there Polaris,

    Also another thing, being that the game release is still sometime away, it is possible that you can simply

    cancel your pre-order     and then Pre-order the game again by going through the offer that is giving you the free game pass.

    Other than that there would be no way to provide the Game Pass as you did not go through that promotion.

    Purchasing Games Before Release Day Makes Them Exempt?

    The support staff works Monday - Friday from 9am to 5pm PST and typically take 1-2 business days to reply to threads. They will never respond in 1 hour.

    To answer your question (which the staff will also do in 1-2 business days) Pre-orders do not qualify for MyVip unless there is a specific promotion stating as such (example: September 2016 pre-orders qualified for that month). It
    does not matter if they release in 1 day or 6 months.

    There is almost always a pre-order promotion running which offers credits for pre-ordering titles within the promotional period which typically involves pre-ordering 3 eligible titles to receive 15,000 total points.
