    I feel conned into signing up for a Gold account. I signed up because of a promotion that offered 4 free games, and two weeks later, I have heard nothing about how to claim/download these promised games. I contacted Xbox support to find out why I hadn't
    received them, and was told I may not get them for between 6 to 8 weeks after the promotion has ended. I only signed up because this offer had two games that I really wanted to play. I have no interest in online-multiplayer, and most of the Games With Gold
    games have not been of any interest to me, so a Gold account would just be wasting money. I paid for a 3 month subscription that is serving no purpose right now, and I feel deceived into subscribing. One thing I do know, is that never again will I pay for
    a Gold subscription. Once bitten twice shy.

    Hey, WRiGG0! Any games that were purchased near the end of December that you should get codes for have been delayed. If you do not get your codes by end of day on Monday, please post back so that we can look into it further. Thanks for understanding!

    Hey there, Subterfuge71! I'm very sorry for any confusion surrounding this, but it sounds like what you are describing is our Games with Gold promotion. Every month, you are able to get 4 free games for free; 2 for the Xbox One and 2 for the Xbox 360. These
    are not sent to you, but you are to check out the
    Games with Gold
    page every 1st and 16th of the month for the games offered.

    Hopefully that helps clear things up. Please let us know if you need any further clarification on the benefits with Gold! Promotional Games Not Received :)

    Hi. Thanks for the reply, but it's not the Games With Gold promotion. I know all about how that works. This was a promotion on the Xbox dashboard that offered me four games just for signing up. Killer Instinct, Powerstar Golf, Max: The Curse of The Brotherhood,
    and one other game that I can't remember the name of.

    I'm afraid I'm unable to provide a screenshot, as after I signed up the promotional window changed back to the regular Gold one. At the time, I assumed it was an offer specifically tailored for me because of the activity on my account, as I had previously
    downloaded the demo of Powershot Golf, and I had pinned, Max: The Curse of The Brotherhood, from the store to my dashboard, as I intended to purchase it at a later date. I did find it strange that In the confirmation email I received after payment was made,
    there was no mention of how and when these promised games would be delivered. It was just a standard confirmation for my Gold subscription.

    Apologies for the delay. Unfortunately because we aren't able to verify this promotion we aren't able to provide these games. The games that you have listed have all been previously offered as Games with Gold titles which leads me to believe that the promotion
    you saw was in reference to Games with Gold. If by any chance you're able to find out any further information for this promotion you saw please pass that info onto us.

    In the meantime, please keep an eye out for any future promotions.

    a Gold subscriber in the past, and at the start of November I restarted my subscription using a One Month voucher that was included with my Xbox One. I then cancelled the renewal before that month was up. Then around the 10th of December, a promotional window
    appeared on my XB1 dashboard, that offered the games I listed just for restarting my Gold subscription. This was over and above any games that would be available to all Gold subscribers. Two of the games in this promotion, Powerstar Golf and Max: The Curse
    of Brotherhood were two games that I had considered purchasing, but hadn't done so yet. This promotional window was on my dashboard each time I logged in over the next few days, and on the 13th of December I decided to take the offer, and restarted my subscription
    via this dashboard window.

    Once I have completed a game, I never replay it, so it was more cost effective for me to buy a 3 Month Gold Subscription code from Amazon than to pay the individual prices for those two games. 3 months is more than enough time for me to get all the gametime
    I need from those two games. As I said in my original post, I have no interest in online multiplayer gaming, so I have no need for a Gold subscription, and wouldn't have restarted a paid subscription unless it was of some benefit to myself. Which in this instance,
    it was.

    If you guys are not able to help in any way, I think this issue needs to be escalated to a department that can help. Is there a fraudulent claims department I can contact?

    Sorry to hear of the frustrations. As I mentioned before, unfortunately we aren't able to look further into this without any information on the promotion. With Xbox Live Gold you do have access to all the Games with Gold titles that release, so keep an eye
    out on this page for titles you currently have access to.

    Hi. I have given you loads of detailed information on the promotion. Short of producing a screenshot, which is impossible now, I fail to see how I can provide anything else that may be useful to Xbox support. Can you please tell me what other information
    you would need? Quite frankly, this is a shocking level of customer support, and I am well beyond frustrated now. If those promised games aren't delivered to me, then Microsoft has committed fraud against me.

    promotion that is happening right now with going Gold is getting a year of EA Access after staying Gold until this September (which is targeted at specific accounts, not everyone).

    If you would like to submit a fraud claim, you will need to reach out to our
    Legal Department
