    Promotional Funds?


    Hey there,

    I got a little tab on my dashboard that said i had money to spend and then i should spend it while i can. I click on the tab and just find a shortcut to the games section and a shortcut to the TV section. It doesn't give me a way to redeem this 'promotional
    fund' and i would like a response so I could find out how.

    hi ive also got this and alot of other peeps aswell ive just finished talking with microsoft and they said someone from micorsoft will respond to you in forums . so we will just have to wait and see whats going on

    I think its just an advert, however is just worded poorly. I have it also, and have checked my account and can confirm I have no promotional funds sitting there

    You can check the balance of your MS account through the MS Commerce website:
    commerce.microsoft.com

    If you scroll down to "Payment Options" you will see if you have any funds there

    Expiring Promotional Funds

    Hey Handsome Jake -

    Thanks for posting. Unfortunately, once promotional funds expire, we are unable to replace those funds in your account. That is not something we on the forums have the capability to do.

    To avoid this from occurring in the future, please be sure to spend any promotional credit received as soon as possible to prevent funds from expiring.

    Apologies for any frustrations this may cause.

    To clarify, if you added funds from a gift card it usually doesn't expire. But funds added through promotions or the Microsoft rewards program do expire. Expiration dates would be given in the terms of the offer.
