    Hello i recieved a promotional code for $10 as compensation due to an error that occured with my subscription but when i went to claim it i was informed it was for the wrong region.

    I'm applying the promo code. It takes $20 off at first, but after I enter all my info, it says there's an issue with the promo code.

    Problems with redeeming the code for 800 MS points

    What region is the 800 MSP code from? If it is from a different region than your account, it will not redeem (MSP codes are region locked).

    Is that a RETAIL MSP card? Or is it a promo code? Promo MSP codes expire after a certain amount of time (and MSP itself has been discontinued for awhile).

    You'll want to reach out to the group that provided you the promo code since it would need to be redeemed within it's region.

    If it was Microsoft, you can request a callback from Official Support by going to Contact Us | Xbox Support as no one in the forums will be able to assist.

    You will need to contact Xbox support directly at support.xbox.com then contact us, click on account or billing issues, no thanks to the virtual assistant, then other. You should have options for either chat or request a phone call (depending on availability
    in your region). They should be able to resolve the issue for you.
