    Progress not synching between computers


    I have two computers, both with Windows 8.1 and both have Microsoft Jigsaw installed. On my desktop computer, I was playing Microsoft Jigsaw and then I closed the application. A bit later, I logged into my laptop computer and opened Microsoft Jigsaw and
    completed several puzzles under classic jigsaw. Moving forward to today, I open Microsoft Jigsaw on my desktop computer, and go into the classic jigsaw. None of what I completed on my laptop computer carried over to the desktop. Both computers are using the
    same microsoft account and both are using the same xbox games username. What happened?

    I use Minesweeper on two different computers but it is not syncing game status across them.

    Glitched Xbox One Achievements.

    @Ser Cloud: yes- deleted all progress- honestly I think it was synching corrupted and that is why it would not unlock the achievements

    Did you make sure that you were logged into your account through a stable connection? Progress should only be lost if you were not connected to the internet or not logged into your account.

    Baldur’s Gate 3 won’t boot past the starting splash screen. It sits on a black screen indefinitely, but only on my account. How do I fix this?

    This worked for me. I did end up losing about 2.5 hours worth of save progress. There were was also an odd error message about synching between the console and cloud which probably had something to do with the data loss.

    The progress of the game is saved in the cloud. If you log in with your gamertag on another console it will synch your savefile as long as the console is online.

    My understanding is your progress is always saved to the Cloud. When you relaunch the game there is a point in the beginning of the game loading up where the XBox One is synching with the cloud. I have noticed on a couple of games that if you try and start
    the game too soon it will not synch and you could lose progress. I always wait for the cloud synch before starting my game session. If you get a synch error I would suggest quitting the game and hard reset your XBox One. I keep my XBox One in power saving
    mode which seems to be the safest way to keep your XBox One in a good state. It will take the XBox One longer to boot up in power save mode though.
