    Hello

    I downloaded shadow warrior 2 on pc, and after I started the game I got the error: "Could not create configs folder: profiles".

    When I just ignore this message, I can play the game. But because there is no profiles folder there is no safe progress and after closing the game everything is gone.

    I tried to reinstall the game, but it didn't help.

    Does someone have similar experience and knows how to fix this error?

    What drive is the game installed on? I checked the game forums and I saw this potential fix shared by a user, however it was for the Steam version.

    "Disconnected E: drive and then it worked. But reconnecting E: drive still gives the error message and the save file doesnt exist."

    I'm not sure if that makes sense to you as I don't play the game, but hope it helps

    Check if you can find the save at that location.

    %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Flying Wild Hog\Shadow Warrior 2\profiles\

    If you can't find it in this location, I recommend contacting the game's developer to find out where it is and if it's possible to transfer the save to another platform.

    Thanks for coming to the Xbox forums. The possibility of the save not being recognized, is it is a save from a previous version of the game. So when you did the reinstall of windows and the game, it is a newer version. If the game will not recognize the
    file, you may want to reach out to the developer.

    I have exactly the same problem with my xbox pc beta, I have installed shadow warrior 2 included in my game pass then it started once, it didn't recognize the Microsoft xbox controller, the game crashed after a minute and since then it can't be installed
    at all, starts installing and immediately tells me it's installed but I can't start it and it doesn't show up in the installed games.
