My profile was corrupt I deleted my profile and made a new one. How do I get my saved games to a new profile on xbox 360. I do not want to start my game over for a 3rd time.

Deleting downloaded profile?

I decided to dust off my 360 and I downloaded my profile awhile ago. But if I delete it and not my actual profile. All of my saves and data will still be there, right? Because from what I read. The only point of downloading your profile, is if you want to log in to a different console.

Xbox 360 system transfer HELP

So I shared an Xbox 360 console with a sibling and we each had our own profiles. So I purchased a new 360 Slim and wanted to take everything associated with my account on the initial console (profile, achievements, game saves) to the Slim.

I transferred everything on a USB but although my profile and achievements transferred onto the USB and loads on the Slim, no game saves to be found.

What can I do to harvest the game saves from the original console without causing problems to my sibling's account and content on the original system?

Nothing can be transferred between accounts. If the other account was a Live account, you would just need to download it back to the console to continue where you left off.

Weird, Gamerscore earned offline will sych when the profile is signed into xbox live. Achievements are not stored in the same way that game saves are. They are tied to the profile, hence they cannot be deleted or corrupted.

The only suggestion i can think of is that the profile may have gotten corrupted itself. So could you try deleting the profile and re-downloading it. Make sure to only delete the profile and not the game saves.

Hi there,

something on the profile on the xbox 360 seems to have corrupted. Since all is shown correctly on xbox.com the thing to do is to delete your profile (profile only) on the xbox 360 and redownload it.

If you only delete the profile, that won't affect any save games etc.

ok so you deleted the corrupted profile but how did you get your profile back. I deleted mine and now I cannot download my profile at all. same error but it did not solve my problem.

i had this issue and recovering my profile helped me

its just this game is new and causes some profiles to go corrupt

im not sure why it does, but it does.
