Profile Picture won’t change.

It's been confirmed by an Xbox Support Agent that there is currently an outage with custom gamerpics not updating.

Unfortunately, I am not able to specify a date this will be resolved as we're not provided this information from the team.

You can track the progress, and be notified of the fix by going to Xbox Status | Xbox Support. Once there is a solution, please attempt to upload your custom gamerpic again and it should be fine.

It’s only custom, preset gamerpics works fine, has no issue changing fast nor taking a while to load. I tried again and It’s still doing the same thing.

Can you please confirm if you're having issues uploading custom, preset gamerpics or both?

Your image should be at least 1080 x 1080 pixels, and be no smaller than 512 x 512 pixels. I have checked and can see there are currently no outages with uploading gamerpics.

You can view the Xbox Server Status by going to Xbox Status | Xbox Support. This page is frequently updated. If you're experiencing an issue, please report an outage so the team can investigate further.

Dude I’m having the same problem. My brother can change his custom profile picture with no problem and all my alt accounts can chqnge their profile picture, but I can’t. I’ve waited around three days and it still won’t upload the profile picture I want - and now I’m stuck with some generic Xbox one that I selected.

That feature has been temporarily disabled, so that's why you can't upload a photo at the moment.
