    I recently changed my profile picture and it is stuck as “pending” but when i change it to something else it uses it without pending. I think it is because it thinks its indecent but it id reslly innocent and sweet. So i am confused as to why i cannot use
    it. Please Help

    P.S its the picture i am using on answers.microsoft.com so its the picture you see next to my name i cant use on xbox for some reason

    Xbox's custom profile pic system is a tad bit extreme when it comes to what is considered okay and not okay. I've had some icons that had nothing wrong with them completely censored (Infinite pending basically) while others went completely free. The best
    thing to do if you get stuck in the pending situation is to change it to something else entirely.

    My brother selected a custom profile picture yesterday and it uploaded and worked immediately. I put custom profile pictures on my alt accounts yesterday and they uploaded immediately. For some reason my main account will not add the profile picture even when it says it’s pending. It’s not affecting everyone’s.

    Does it give you a warning message saying that the profile picture is currently being verified? If so, that usually means that its going to be stuck pending for awhile. The only way to avoid something like this from happening again is to change your icon to something else entirely.
