Profile info on the app

Ever since the xbox app was updated, my sister and I cannot seem to find how to change our profile information. Is this still possible? And if so, how do we do it now that everything is different?

Hi there,

as far as I know you should be able to disable that via Settings - Account - Sign-in, Security & Passkey - Uncheck "Show on Home".

Sorry to hear you are running into this problem. In this case it really just looks like you are logging in using the wrong email address. If this was the correct email address it would not have you enter new account information.

Go ahead and follow the steps on the following support article for more help with this specific situation.

Find your Microsoft account email address

If you continue to run into problems then I would advise you
Contact Xbox Support
for more assistance in recovering the account. If you have up to date security information you should not have a hard time recovering the account.
