I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please check Image compliance. Make sure that the image you're trying to upload complies with Xbox's Code of Conduct because images that don't meet the guidelines can cause errors.

Power cycle the Xbox. You can do this by holding down the power button for 10 seconds to turn off the console, then unplugging it for a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on.

And then try different devices. Kindly change your profile picture using a different device, such as a PC, smartphone, or tablet.

Next is to use Xbox App. Please ues the Xbox App when changing your profile picture on your smartphone or PC.

There are times that the issue can be due to high traffic on the servers. Please wait for a while and try again later.

Hi Bestlano, thank you for your suggestion. It got me a step ahead, but the problem is still on. In the "Xbox App Beta" version instead that faulty dialog I've got the one with the message that I've used all free changes (even though that it was the first
Gamertag except the default one) with the link to "Xbox" web site. When I click the link, same error page "Ou Oh... glitch in the system..." loads.

All of this started after I've bought the PE version of Minecraft which by deafult takes the Xbox Gamertag for the user name and since the Gamertag had space in it, I've couldn't load any of the public servers in it (when I use my personal Gamertag without
spaces, server with the same settings loads).

Hi Dxage, What version of the Xbox App are you using? Have you tried using the Xbox App (Beta) to see if this issue continues? Beta version is running a newer version. You can DL the beta by going to the store on your PC and searching for "Xbox App Beta".
If the issue continues report the issue using the "Report a problem' located under the happy icon on the left NAV bar in the beta app.

Hi Dxage, We truly appreciate you taking the time to report this issue. I did see your report and I have presented this to the developers requesting an investigation. If the developers have further questions we will contact you.

Given investigations like this takes time you may also want to contact Xbox Support. They may be able assist you so you get things working with your Gamertag and mention about the error your experienced when you accessed Xbox.com and losing your free change.
