Hello.

My main Xbox account has been a child account attached to my main Microsoft account. Recently I’ve been trying to find a way to make the child account the primary account, but have been told this is impossible. I’ve been considering removing the child account from the Microsoft family I had set up and establish it as it’s own account, but I can’t tell how it will affect my content. I have purchased many games that aren’t on GamePass or Gold and still have in store credit attached. Am I able to safely transfer my purchases and credit over?

well was the suspension a temporary ban or a permante ban?

if you have access to the purchasing console then you can use it on any profile

however since your account is permanately baned

once an account is baned everything attached to it including DLC and achievements and subscription time and ms points are forfeit

Whatever profile downloaded the games has to be on the non-home console and signed into Live to access the games at the same time. The 2nd profile will not be able to access the games on the non-home console without the purchasing profile online on that
console. 2nd profile can only access games on the purchasing profiles home console without the actual purchasing profile.

Above you mentioned "I purchased them from another profile".

That suggests that you purchased them from... well... another profile.

If you purchased them on your VHDB gamertag then they should be in your Download History.

Look at that and re-download. If they are not there then contact Support.

If you purchased them on another profile then you will need to log in on that profile to play.

Only the profile that purchases the game would own the game. So if profile B buys a game, they will own the game, not profile A. If profile A changes the Home setting, profile B would still own the game since they purchased it on their account.
