Problems withs extra pins for PayTV while watching with LiveTV and OneGuide

60mins is the max and that is not long enough. Im using oneguide to watch tv and the screen dims while watching.

In order to display the SD versions of channels there is a setting on the Xbox One that you can toggle to display those in the OneGuide TV listings. While watching LiveTV press the Menu (old start) button to being up the menu and select settings. Then
go into the OneGuide and uncheck the Box that says "Hide SD Channel duplicates" After that the OneGuide will display both HD and SD versions of the same channel so if you want to watch it in SD you can. I do have one suggestion if you do this. On your Cable
Box go into the settings and select the output you normally watch TV at such as 720p etc. The reason for this is some cable boxes like to send out a new signal every time the user changes to a channel with a different native resolution and this forces the
Xbox One to examine the feed for 5-20 sec to make sure it is displaying it correctly. As far as your DVR question we do support various media controls while watching a channel by pressing A on the controller however a previously recorded show saved to your
DVR is something we are working on adding support for. In order to use the media controls with a cablebox that has DVR/Tivo capabilities it is very important that it is setup correctly under the TV devices.

I think the problem with reporting the "wrong number" for a channel number through "OneGuide settings -> Troubleshooting -> Report a OneGuide Problem" is that the lineup doesn't get reviewed because the number reported for the channel actually is correct
in the guide! For example, when I report that ESPN is a "wrong number" and should be on 850, well....it does show on 850 in OneGuide. So I'm assuming this doesn't trigger a full lineup review. The problem is that OneGuide ALSO shows it on 252 (here in Richmond).
252 is now defunct and doesn't exist as a channel via Comcast. So when we say "XBOX watch ESPN" it seems like it must internally grab the lowest channel number it can find for that HD channel and then try to change the cable box channel number to that.

So reporting a wrong channel number by giving an example doesn't seem to really work because the one we give is correct and already in the guide. The problem is that there is an "extra" channel number in the guide for a channel like ESPN and it's the extra
channel that is wrong--it shouldn't exist as any channel, period. There's no way to report this fallacy through the interface.

Try this, after you have skipped setup and are watching LiveTV press then Menu button and select settings then select devices and manually enter your device information.
