Problems with your WOT game, easy fix from WG Mods

"use this:

-Restart World of Tanks

-On the "Press Start" screen, hold Left Bumper + Right Bumper + Y

-while holding these 3 buttons, press the Start button (small black button to the left of the “X" button)

When done correctly, you should see some activity in the Launcher (Managing Layout, progress bars) instead of just immediately getting pop up on screen "Press A to Continue"

This will start an Integrity check the files on your hard drive and automatically fix any damaged files that might have been damaged during the download or update.



At this time there is no point in deleting the game while this will fix any fragmented files you might have.

Why waste all that time re downloading if you don't need to.

If you see no activity in the progress bar, your running fine or if you do see activity, your now fixed up.

Also if you want to give this a shot at helping your late load in game it is what we ask folks to do to help.



and just for good measure:

1) Go to your System Settings and find Storage then press “A”.

2) Highlight Hard Drive and press “Y”.

3) Press “A” on 'Clear System Cache press “A” to confirm. Do this 3 times in row.

Next:

1) Turn off your system, unplug your modem, unplug your router and unplug your Xbox for 5 minutes.

2) Once you have done that plug in your router and let it boot up (around 45 second).

3) Then you may turn on your Xbox and try again.

If all else fails, full deep system delete and reinstall of the game will fix many odd problems, sound, late loading, missing items.......

Now would be a great time to delete and do a fresh install - General Discussion

South Park explained the scam behind WoT, as well as every other free-to-play game & it was hilarious!

first off lordkillerdna.people like you need to take your childish wot fanboy attitude back to wargamings forum.people onthis forum know the game is lousy.you are one of the many problems with thier forum. ibeta tested that garbage game from day one.i reported
legitimate problems was flamed down then told by one of wg mods.if ididnt like the problems with thier game to bad dont play it.wargamings staff are just as hateful and childish as thier fanboys are.oh and i loved that southpark episode.

 

Quick fix for random game drops and lag

you can defrag by holding both the left bumper and right bumper down at same time and press the Y button. (Do this only while at the news screen)

This is a miner fix of lag and sponing into battle late. The other quik fix is game client (sometimes doing update after update the client can get corrupted) this can cause a wide range of problems. To fix go to SETTINGS then SYSTEM then STORAGE then
HARD DRIVE then GAMES highlight WOT press Y choose DELETE. You want to delete the WOT game and all other WOT files.(don't worry about loosing any of your tanks or progress or gold because its all saved with WG) Now re-download the game in your download history
located in SETTINGS then ACCOUNT INFORMATION click on Download History find WOT360 re-download (don't forget to turn off your Xbox and on again before you launch the game) and your ready to roll out. See you on the battlefield.

worked nicely for me.....I do it every month or so...it makes a noticeable difference and you do join games faster. Kudos for the WoT Forum Mods for posting this AND the Xbox360 Mods for Re-posting it. Thanks!
